LUTON TOWN ELITE BOYS' FOOTBALL ACADEMY
Central Bedfordshire College, in partnership with Luton Town FC, have been based at The Arena in Baldock for over five years. During this time they have developed a highly successful football development and educational achievement programme aimed at school leavers.
This two year programme combines a full-time educational qualification with a full-time football development programme, enabling students to gain recognised qualifications while they continue to pursue a career in football. On completion of their first year, students elect to study one of the following specialisms:
1 - University - Students complete a BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport. Previous students have progressed on to some of the top 10 University Sports Courses in the country.
2 - Personal Trainer - Students complete the BTEC Diploma in Sport, plus a Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer CYQ qualification.
3 - Coaching - Students complete the BTEC Diploma in Sport plus a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Activity Leadership. Students are able to gain vast coaching experience with UEFA A licensed coaches, coaching in schools and the wider community.
If you're at least 16 and love football, this could be the perfect choice - whether you want to
be a player, work in football generally, in sport more widely, or just have great fun.
Key features:
o Academic Success: rates as high as 90%
o Higher than average progression to employment and university
o Football success - we've won a range of different leagues 5 times; runners up twice
o 5 learners achieving professional trials, with many others trialling for England

To join one of these exciting courses, you will take part in a trial as part of the selection process.
