Hitchin Town Community Football Club is a ‘not for profit’ company managing and delivering the projects and programmes contained within Hitchin Town Football Club’s Football Development Plan.

 

A successful grant application to the Football Foundation and partnership funding from Hertfordshire County Council in 2007 resulted in the construction of a state of the art training facility that has been used as the ‘hub’ for the Club’s Football in the Community programme.

 

The Arena consists of a full size 3rd generation artificial pitch, covered spectator seating, four team changing rooms, two match officials changing rooms, disabled toilet and disabled shower, two meeting rooms/class rooms, café / bar area & parking for up to 70+ cars and two coaches.

Mission Statement

 

  • To use the power of football and sport as a tool for social change and build a better future for the community of North Hertfordshire.

 

  • To lead the successful development of football in North Hertfordshire by working in partnership with key agencies to provide quality football/sport opportunities for all.

 

  • To deliver the four key indicators of social development of more jobs, less crime, better health and improved educational attainment.

 

  • To increase the participation, quality and enjoyment of playing, coaching, watching and officiating of football / sport through 5 key strategies:
