"I just wanted to email to say thank you very much for the youth disability match day last Saturday. My son had a great day and enjoyed every minute. Please could you pass on our thanks to the coaches, who were excellent with all of the children!"  -  Parent of child attending a specially arranged day involving football coaching and a trip to Top Field, the home of Hitchin Town FC.

Safe Hands Goal-Keeping Courses
SQD_4096_1_edited.jpg

Goalkeeping courses concentrating on key skills such as shot-stopping, dealing with crosses, basic handling and footwork.

The number one priority for a goalkeeper is to stop shots from entering his or her goal. The single, most important aspect of goalkeeping is to handle the ball. There are a variety of handling techniques, but unless the ball can be safely caught then advancement will be almost impossible.

Coached by Hitchin Town 1st Team Goal Keeper Joshua Mollison, these courses provide goalkeepers with the technical ability they need for their specialised role within the team.

Term-time, Wednesdays, 5.30-6.30pm.

Our venue is ideal for coaching clinics and courses for all ages, with covered spectator seating and indoor parent's lounge, cafe & bar.

If you are a coaching company and would be interested in hiring our fantastic facility to run your clinics and courses, please get in touch with us now!

"It's so nice to sit in the warm, have a coffee and read the papers when I'm usually freezing cold on the pitch side!"  -  Parent
